We’re teeing up and want to share some exciting new details for the 17th Annual Wentworth Charities Golf Classic. We hope that you will join us again for this incredible experience of Oceanside golf while supporting the greater goals that only charity can achieve.
Have you ever experienced growing pains due to generosity and good will? Wentworth Charities has.
You have made our event such a smashing success that we have, consequently, outgrown our venue. This isn’t a bad thing. But, with its championship golf, exquisite dining and first-class resort amenities the Samoset is the perfect setting for what we are doing. Now that you know what hasn’t changed, let us tell you what has. We have revamped our sponsorship opportunities to ensure that this event remains as personal and enjoyable to you as possible. You may be asking yourself: “How have they done this?”…
We listened to you, our great sponsors that support us year after year. And, what we heard is that you want a top-notch, elite golf event with plenty of business networking opportunities that doesn’t interfere with your weekend. We also ran out of lodging space last year. So, to facilitate all of this we have moved the tournament to mid-week and are changing the number of playing spots to 144 with a grand total of 36 teams. All team players will enjoy three full rounds of golf – a practice round Tuesday, the tournament round Wednesday and a wrap up round Thursday. As always you will be dazzled by our top tier entertainment and wined and dined the entire time by the superb staff at the Samoset Resort. For those not golfing this year, you need not worry, there are plenty of other sponsorship opportunities that we need your help with.
Wentworth Charities has made a pledge to the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to continue our collective fight to combat these devastating diseases. Your participation and altruism enables us to do this every year, in fact, without you none of this would be possible.
